We are now starting to get into the depth of our project. These few weeks are based on research on our topics for our 20-time project. Haley and I have decided to research the psychology behind children stuck in hospitals all day and the physical needs of the kids. We plan to research further on these topics to get a better understanding of how the kids feel so we can cheer them up even more when visiting and giving them pillow cases. My first article is about the psychology behind the children stuck in hospital rooms. The article states  “Children admitted to hospital can experience trauma, now just from their injury but from the experience.” We plan to find out more about this so we can make their stay a lot more enjoyable. The second article talks about what the children are going through physically. Reading these two articles made me more aware of what these kids have to go through and makes me even more excited to be apart of making them smile. Me and Haley are very eager to continue our research and begin to start planning visits to the hospitals to meet with the children.
