With this projects deadline coming even closer haley and I have gathered all our materials for our pillow cases to begin making them. Our current goal is to finish our pillow cases by the end of the month in order to have enough time deliver them to the children and make our presentation before June 5th. We went to Joan's fabrics this week with our bake sale money to buy the materials and to stay under budget. We found 3 different fabrics each for girls and boys and one gender neutral one at $2.99 per yard. We also purchased needles and thread and at the end we saved 7 dollars which can be used for another pillow case if needed or more thread and needles. Haley and I are planning on recruiting students in our school to lend a helping hand with making these pillow cases. with more students helping we can produce these pillow cases at a faster rate and more efficiently. Therefore that is what I have been up to these past weeks and Im very excited ...
I have just finished my research paper based on my project: how hospitals effect children. Now that we have finsjhed up the research portion of this project we can officially start the physical part of this project. .In these past weeks Haley and I have held a bake sale and made a little under a 100 dollars. We plan to use this money to buy materials for the pillow cases. In the next week we plan on gathering materials such as fabric, thread, and needles. However first we need to research the type of fabric we are allowed to use. We very excited to start doing the big part of this project and meeting the children. We have about a month to finish over a hundred pillow cases and deliver them to the 2 hospitals. Since there are so many pillow cases needed to be made, we are recruiting some of our friends to help us make them so we make more in less time. Our current goal for this project is to be done making all the pillow cases by May 1st.
